INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES AND SOLUTIONS FOR DEVELOPING VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN VIETNAM

Abstract

A prosperous nation is a startup nation [5, 2009], innovative and creative nation as well [1, 2007]. A prosperous nation must be a place to produce a powerful workforce with strong entrepreneurial capabilities and creative, innovative spirit. In the era of globalization and connected world, where all countries have a close relationship with each other in the global value chain, Vietnamese human resources need to be built and developed strategically and professionally and also equipped with new knowledge and new skills that are more international than ever. The paper presents international experiences in vocational education and lessons for Vietnam. Thereby proposing solutions and policies to promote internationalizing vocational education in Vietnam
