THE CURRENT SITUATION OF MANAGING THE TEACHING OF NATURAL AND SOCIAL SUBJECT AT PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN CAN GIO DISTRICT, HO CHI MINH CITY

Abstract

Managing the teaching of Natural and Social Subject at primary schools towards developing students' competencies is one of urgent requirements today. This article presents the results of survey and assessment of the current situation of managing Natural and Social subject teaching towards developing students’ competencies at primary schools in Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City, including: management of the teaching program and plan of Natural and Social subject, management of teachers’ teaching of Natural and Social subject, management of examination and assessment of learning results of Natural and Social subject, management of teaching conditions of Natural and Social subject towards developing students' competencies. This result is the basis for proposing measures of management to improve teaching quality of Natural and Social subject at primary schools
