HUNG VUONG (HUNG KINGS) IN VIETNAMESE PEOPLE MENTALITY

Abstract

The legend of the Hung Vuong era - the opening era of nation-building history of Vietnam, associated with the formation and development of the State of Van Lang on the foundation of Dong Son culture, has a very special position in the mentality of every Vietnamese people. Therefore, unraveling the doubtful issues of the Hung Vuong era does not only contributes to deepening Vietnam's historical and cultural values but also arouses national pride for today's young generation.
