PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHTS OF NGÔ THÌ NHẬM IN HIS WORK TRUC LAM TONG CHI NGUYEN THANH

Abstract

Ngo Thi Nham (1746 - 1803) was a typical Vietnamese thinker in the 18th century. “Truc Lam Tong Chi Nguyen Thanh” was one of the most important works that he left for posterity. “Truc Lam Chi Tong Nguyen Thanh” expressed the profound and distinctive philosophical standpoints and human values ​​towards the truth, the good-being and the beauty. The work was also a unique combination of the three religions  associated with Confucianism during the crisis of dominant ideology at that time.
