THE BEAUTY OF HOANG SA AND TRUONG SA ARCHIPELAGOES IN VIETNAMESE CONTEMPORARY POETRY

Abstract

Sea - island is a sacred part of Vietnamese territory. Hoang Sa and Truong Sa are two major archipelagoes of the country. Facing the challenges of sovereignty over territorial sea and islands, contemporary art and literature are focusing more on the sea - island topic as an inevitable trend. According to this trend, contemporary poetry reflects thoughts and feelings of Vietnamese people for the topic. Using systematic methods and integrated analysis, the paper expresses the natural beauty of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa in contemporary Vietnamese poetry.
