Abstract

In the context of current environmental crisis, the return to the concept of "Awing life" of Buddhism is a solution to change the behavior of saving the environment. Buddhism with the doctrine of cause and consequence - karmic retribution is a practical ethical educational method. The intrinsic correspondence between Buddhist teachings and contemporary ecological prose has found specific spiritual and emotional solutions to the ecological harmony and protection of all things. In this article, from the suggestions of the doctrine of karmic retribution in Buddhist teachings, we analyze the plot motifs of punishment and the plot motif of karmic retribution in contemporary Vietnamese ecological prose.
