IDEAS OF TOLERATION IN HO CHI MINH’S POLITICAL CULTURE REGARDING THE RENOVATION PROCESS OF THE COUNTRY

Abstract

Tolerance is one of the common elements in the moral and political value system of Vietnamese people thanks to thousands of years of building and defending the country. The philosophy has been raised by President Ho Chi Minh to become a common practice in his ideal.

Immersed in ideas of toleration of President Ho Chi Minh, in the process of national renovation, the Party and State continue to implement the policy of "people’s safety", great national unity, and reconciliation of opposite sides for greater goals, meanwhile, take advantage of opportunities, overcome challenges, actively integrate into the world, make friends and reduce enemies, absorb the human quintessence for the sustainable development of the country. The culture of toleration becomes one of the stimulants and driving forces in the renovation process of the country.
