THE CURRENT STATUS OF TEACHING POLITICAL THEORY SUBJECTS AT THE UNIVERSITY LEVEL FROM STUDENT'S PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

Teaching political theory subjects at the university level is an important undertaking for developing students' worldviews, scientific and revolutionary methodologies. A survey of student information from seven member universities of Ho Chi Minh City National University was conducted to better understand the current state of teaching political theory at the university level. According to research findings, while being aware of the goal of studying these disciplines, many students perceive them to be extremely abstract, making them difficult to absorb, difficult to apply in practice, and lacking relevance to specialised subjects.
