Trends of Changes in Vietnam’s Working Class under Context of Industrial Revolution 4.0

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is having a strong impact on the Vietnamese working class. It is continuing to increase in number, coupled with the shift in the occupational structure, while its skill level is improved. Nowadays, although both the material and non-material aspects of life of the class have been improved compared to in the past, there remain many difficulties and challenges. Analysing the trends of changes in the class will help Vietnam to devise appropriate policies and strategies in the current context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and ongoing broad and comprehensive international integration.
