Abstract
Accurate positioning of outdoor vehicles and machinery is of the top importance in management, tracking, analysis, and control applications. However, most of the current vehicle tracking devices have an error of a few meters to several tens of meters, which is not enough for applications requiring high accuracy. This paper presents the design of an outdoor machinery monitoring device that integrates precise positioning technology of real-time kinematic (RTK). The device uses U-Blox’s Zed F9P module as the core to perform the high accuracy positioning function.
