Abstract

To develop organic agriculture (NNHC) in association with environmental protection, raising awareness and skills for farmers about organic agriculture is a key factor. Through a questionnaire combined with in-depth interviews with 30 agricultural households in Ban Nguyen commune in October 2025, it was shown that most people here are aware of the concept, production characteristics, and role of organic agriculture. The majority have certain awareness of the agricultural value chain, production processes and the Party's policies and State laws related to the development of organic agriculture. The most difficult difficulties and obstacles in organic agriculture production here are identified as: technical production processes (83%); followed by product consumption (57%); next is the issue of certification (30%) and finally the difficulty in capital (27%). Regarding the need for support here: the highest is the need for support in technical production processes (83%); followed by product consumption (60%); the issue of certification (40%) and the need for preferential capital support for organic farming production (40%). The research team proposed 5 additional support solutions for farmers in Ban Nguyen commune, Phu Tho province to promote the development of organic agriculture better and better.
