Abstract

QUANG TRUNG EMPEROR ASSOCIATED WITH ENFORCEMENT POLICY ON THE PROTECTION OF THE SOVEREIGNTY ON THE SEA AND ISLAND (1753 - 1792)
Quang Trung Emperor associated with the glorious development of the Tây Sơn Dynasty. Quang Trung Emperor is an intelligent king, with foresight and vision to protect the integrity of sovereignty over the sea and islands of the country. As the head of the dynasty, he made a marine policy, specifically a policy which develops a powerful naval force in order to fight the protection of the national independence and unification with large and modern warships compared to the nations’s warships in the region. Accordingly, the policy of recruiting marines from its strategic high level to soldiers practicing combat, with rapid marches by sea, they contributed to the victory of the battles fighting under the command of Quang Trung King. In this study, the author only mentions the main contents of his process of enforcing and protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the country.
