Abstract

Hoa Binh culture is an important prehistoric archaeological one found in many Southeast Asian countries, of which many sites have been discovered in Vietnam. Even though this culture has been recognized since the early 20th century, study on it has always been updated to the present to solve any unanswered questions regarding residents’ lifestyle of Hoa Binh culture and how ancient people adapted to tropical environments. The existence of the Batek people in the peninsular Malaysia and their considered primitive lifestyle has contributed a new perspective to the issue of applying anthropology to study Hoa Binh culture.
