Management of mathematics teaching activities in the direction of developing mathematical communication ability for students at tien yen primary school, son dong commune, Hanoi city
Abstract
Communication competence is one of the five important types of competence that have been proposed as the goal of developing qualities and competencies for primary school students in the 2018 General Education Program. This competence can be formed and developed through many different educational and teaching paths, including the teaching of Mathematics and associated with this activity is the students' Math communication competence. The content of the article focuses on the following basic issues: 1) Concepts and requirements of the 2018 General Education Program for teaching and learning in the direction of developing qualities and competencies for primary school students; 2) Organizing a survey of the current status of managing Math teaching and learning in the direction of developing Math communication competencies for students at Tien Yen Primary School, Son Dong Commune, Hanoi City; 3) Factors influencing and general assessment of the results, causes of results, practices, and limitations of this situation. On that basis, the article gives some recommendations to improve this situation in the Conclusion section of the article.
