Designing learning worksheets to enhance the effectiveness of teaching imaginative paragraph writing for grade 4th students
Abstract
In the context of implementing the Grade 4 Vietnamese Language curriculum within the “Connecting Knowledge with Life” textbook series, improving the quality of teaching imaginative paragraph writing has become a key pedagogical priority. Learning worksheets are considered an essential tool, functioning as a structured framework that guides students’ thinking, helps them overcome idea-blocks, and maximizes their capacity for autonomy and creativity. This study focuses on identifying core principles and establishing a standardized process for designing effective learning worksheets. The goal is to equip teachers with tools to optimize instructional practices, thereby enabling Grade 4 students not only to complete writing tasks but also to develop more deeply their visual thinking skills and linguistic expression characteristic of imaginative writing.
