USING BASIC ART KNOWLEDGE IN TEACHING SHAPE CREATION FOR STUDENTS OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION
Abstract
Shaping activities are considered to be one of the fundamental ways to educate
the aesthetics and comprehensive development of children from their first years in life. As
an organizer, a supporter, a guide and an example for children towards creativity,
preschool teachers need to be firmly equipped with basic knowledge related to arts and
shape creation so as to organize and guide children to participate in shaping activities.
Therefore, this article offers suggestive analysis on the use of basic art knowledge in
teaching shape creation to students of preschool education, thereby proposing solutions to
improve learning efficiency and apply art knowledge for future preschool teachers, which
meet the professional requirements in art shaping, love for profession and understanding
of children, helping children form a foundation for developing aesthetic competencies
according to targets of preschool education.
