APPLYING PROBLEM SOLVING METHOD ON TEACHING SUBJECTS OF NATURAL SCIENCE AND SOCIAL SCIENCE FOR PRIMARY STUDENTS

Abstract

Problem solving method creates opportunities for Primary students to foster and
improve their skills in detecting and implementing the solving process – an essential skill
for people living in the modern world. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics and
role of problem solving method in teaching subjects of Natural Science and Social Science
in primary schools. The article presents the process of organizing teaching to solve
problems, for example illustrating the teaching organization using this method in these
subjects, then conducting experiments. The results have initially demonstrated the
feasibility, the ability to apply problem solving method in the teaching of Natural Science
and Social Science, thus contributing to the improvement of effective teaching.
