Abstract

Buon Ma Thuot, which is a city directly under Dak Lak province, is located in the central position of the Western Highlands (Tây Nguyên). It is one of the living areas of many ethnic minorities with typical features of geography, history, customs and habits. Born in the early 20th century, the work of Lien Dinh Ton That Lac Chi's "Responds on the Ban Citadel" is a local book written about Buon Ma Thuot. Understanding this land through the lens of research on the form, content, and author of the work is essential and contributes to a clearer portrayal of an area in the Plateau, thereby helping readers have a better understand about the local culture
