ART VOICE AND HOW TO EXPRESS THI TAI'S IDEAS IN VIETNAMESE MEDIEVAL NOM POETRY

Abstract

Using tone to express the writer's thoughts, feelings, stances and views is an important and familiar artistic technique in medieval literature in general. But using tone to express ideas of talent in Nom poetry is a completely new research problem. Through the survey, we found that: Nom authors often use personal pronouns, imperative words, conjectural words, affirmative clauses, declarative sentences, negative sentences, and interrogative sentences. … create a superior tone, an optimistic tone of trust, an affirmative tone ... in order to show one's own talents, superiority, arrogance, contempt for having more talent or optimism, believe that talent is useful… This helps them create a unique voice that we call the voice of talent. Studying the use of tone to show talent in Nom poetry helps readers better understand the forms of expressing the idea of talent in medieval Vietnamese literature.
