Abstract

Despite a long history, the term “logistics” has become popular in recent years. Logistics seem responsible for the lifeblood that helps goods to be transferred smoothly from producers to consumers. The article will introduce logistics and history of logistics,
the aspects of the macro environment, analyse the impacts of the macro environment to seek opportunities and identify challenges to Vietnam’s logistics industry, which are the basis for planning and developing appropriate strategies for the industry.
