Abstract

Computer programs are subject to copyright protection under the provisions of the Intellectual Property Law of Vietnam and countries that are members of the Berne Convention. A computer program is created from the author's own facilities and finances, or from the investment of another individual or organization. Usually, programmers create computer programs under an employment contract. They work under the assignment of an agency, organization or business. In fact, it is still difficult to determine the copyright holder for computer programs in contracts with labor elements, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic when most employer choose to deploy remote working methods
