Abstract

Quang Ngai is a region known for its prominent agricultural products in the country. Among these, the Ly Son garlic is considered a key product and was designated for protection of geographical indications in 2020. However, since receiving this designation, the product has not fully capitalized on its commercial value or reached its potential. This study delves into the current management and utilization of the Ly Son garlic's geographical indications (GIs), integrating management concepts and effectively leveraging both domestic and international GIs. The findings serve as a foundation for sustainable strategies in managing and exploiting the geographical indications of Ly Son garlic in Quang Ngai province.
