Abstract

Vietnam is in the process of building a carbon market, one of the effective tools to help Vietnam achieve its goal of net-zero emissions by 2050. China operates the world's largest carbon market and has many similarities with Vietnam in terms of political economy. Therefore, this article chooses to analyze China's policy, legal regulations, and the practical operation of its national carbon market to draw implications for the development of the carbon market in Vietnam
