Abstract

Registration to establish rights to trademarks of universities and colleges is increasingly popular, demonstrating the growing interest of rights holders in this area. The current regulations on intellectual property, however, do not clearly define the scope of trademark protection, resulting in inadequacies and difficulties in the registration process. This article will focus on the conditions for trademark protection, the current status of rights establishment, challenges encountered during registration, and propose recommendations to improve the law and enhance the efficiency of trademark rights registration for universities and colleges.
