SOME ISSUES IN APPLYING MEASURES TO PROPERTY DISTRAINT AND ACCOUNT BLOCKADE

Abstract

Property distraint and account blockade are coercive measures of the State stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Code applied by Investigation authorities, Procuracies and Courts on accused persons, suspects, defendants that the Criminal Code provides for a fine, confiscation of property to ensure compensation for damages and judgment execution. However, the practice of applying these measures still poses many different opinions, understanding and difficulties in applying them.
