The renewal in practice and requirements for key leadership and governance cadres

Abstract

Having reaffirmed achievements recorded in the renewal

over the last 20 years, the writing simultaneously

indicated limits and errors committed in this process.

Relevant attributes could be blamed for persons in the

leadership and governance positions, who had estranged

from the guiding principle of the 6th National Congress

(1986) of the Communist Party of Vietnam, which was

“looking towards the truth and telling the truth”.

The need to comprehend, hold up and know how to

analyze the practice is a requirement that belongs to the

outlook, vision and methodology of leadership and

governance cadres, first and most important of whom are

key cadres in the political system. Leadership and

governance cadres in the organizational, human

educational and training fields should take particularly

the leading role and accountability. These were the main

contents, about which the writing sought to analyze and

clarify.
