Value of the times of the October Revolution

Abstract

It was ninety years ago, the Russian October
Revolution, a socialist revolution waged by a
political party of the Russian proletarian class led by
V.I. Lenin - a blessedly talented leader of the
proletarian class of Russia and the world at large
erupted and won its victory. The working class and
laboring people in Russia rose up to hammer the
ruling machinery of the exploiting class to found a
new-styled state the Soviet authority, a mere
proletarian state, affirming the correctness of
Marxism on proletarian revolution and
proletarianism. The victory of the first ever socialist
revolution in the history of mankind demonstrates
the significance of the times of the human society -
the age in transition from capitalism to socialism
across the world. Acknowledging the height and
value of the October Revolution, the author quoted
an immortal statement made by President
Hochiminh: “Like a brightly shining sun, the
October Revolution set light on over the five
continents, awakening millions of people subjected
to oppression, exploitation on the Earth. Never
before in the history of mankind there had been such
a profoundly and substantially significant
revolution.” Having reviewed social revolutions in
the world, including the August Revolution in 1945
in Vietnam as a result of the October Revolution’s
impact, rewards enjoyed by nations from such
revolutions, the author proved and reaffirmed the
value of the times of the October Revolution towards
the humankind’s life, and at the same time rejected
attempts to deny the historical significance of the
great October Revolution.
