Some research methodologies and cultural-human beings-human resource development in the context of market economy, globalization and international integration (relating to research outcomes of the State-recognized science-technology project KX.05.01)

Abstract

On 17th April 2007, at the Social Science Information Institute, the State-recognized science-technology project KX.05.01, namely “Research methodologies and cultural-human beings-human resource development in the context of market economy, globalization and international integration, directed by Associate Prof. and Dr. Ho Si Quy, was admitted and acquired State recognition. This project was a component within an umbrella State-recognized science-technology program KX.05 ”Cultural-human beings-human resource research and development in the context of market economy, globalization and international integration", chaired by Prof. and Academician Pham Minh Hac. Having been admitted, the project was registered at the Ministry of Science and Technology, and granted with a Certificate No.6381/KQ-TTKHCN. In an attempt to bring research outcomes of the project at the soonest to readers, the Social Science Information magazine is presenting an article written by the project’s director himself in this and next editions.
The article outlines the project implementation, from execution means to organization of the research force; research outcomes and relevant recommendations.
The project outcomes were presented in an Executive Report (spreading over 400 pages in the A4 format), focusing on the following contents:
- Cultural-human beings-human resource research and development: from theory to practice, experiences of the world and Vietnam.
- Marxism traditional ideological heritage and Hochiminh’s thoughts: guidelines for cultural, human beings and human resource research and development in the context of market economy, globalization and international integration.
- Vietnamese in conception of selected population groups (sociological survey results).
- Conclusions.
