Abstract

The article described the formulation and major features of the concept “non-traditional security” in connection with national security; its evolution in varying forms in the context of national security in particular and global security in general. The author presented some solutions, having analyzed the implications of non-traditional security factors on culture and people in some East Asian countries, that aimed at preventing the non-traditional security factors from impacting culture and people. In this regard, the role of the state, international organizations and non-governmental organisations must be especially underscored.
