Lenin’s thoughts on state and socialist rule-of-law state building in Vietnam today

Abstract

The rule of law is an achievement of mankind, a prevalent form of state today in the world. In Vietnam, it is still a new issue to speak of the rule of law state in both perception and practice. To have a consistent perception, building successfully a socialist rule of law state in Vietnam in line with the commitment of the Communist Party of Vietnam, it is imperative to exaggerate the study on theories, especially the ideas of classical Marxism-Leninism authors, with a creative application of these to the context of Vietnam. This article presents essential points in Lenin’s thoughts of a new model of state – which is proletarian state – socialist state and how to translate his thoughts to the building of a socialist rule of law state in Vietnam.
