Abstract

Many people believe that philosophy is the driest and the most difficult subject to learn, however, there are no logical or natural characters can cause difficulty for Vietnamese to study philosophy. The problem is who are the teachers; what is taught; how it is taught and teaching environment. Vietnamese is not entirely like arguing in philosophy, except them partially like philosophy or some people call it is one kind of wise. That is also the difference between philosophy in Vietnam and in the western. The weakness of traditional thought is because we are fond of generalization and usually forget details, specific evidence, the soon generalization or lack of information can lead to “inexperienced generalization”.  There are many different reason cause this situation, but the most direct reason may be due to our social values table is deviatory.
