The application of the Resolution of the fifth conference of 8th Party Central Committee into cultural life in Catholic villages

Abstract

Construction a new cultural life in Vietnam was conducted immediately after the process of renovation and started from agriculture, rural in the orientation of socialism. The movement “united to build new cultural life” is one out of four major group of solutions outlined in the Resolution of the fifth conference of  8th Party Central Committee on “Building and developing a culture which is advanced and characterized by national identities for Vietnam”.

In spirit of changing to be consistent with the development of social and economic life in rural area, cultural villages are formed to inherit and promote national indentity, good habits and customs, creating cultural life in general villages and in Catholic villages in particular. The article mentions the cultural value of village from theory to practice during process of applying the Resolution of the fifth conference of  8th Party Central Committee into daily life of Catholic community in Vietnam.
