Synthesis and anti-cancer activity of some new indazole derivatives
Abstract
Regarding indazole as a heterocyclic aromatic organic compound possessing various remarkable biological activities such as antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, anticancer; and various anti-cancer agents in current use embody indazole frame, two novel indazole derivatives were prepared two or three step synthezis with commonly-known reactions. Two of these, compounds (3) and (7), were evaluated for anti-cancer activities by sulforhodamine B (SRB) assay. Both tested derivatives showed moderate anticancer potent on some cancer cell lines with IC50 ranged at 11.7 to 28.9 μM.
