TRAINING SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE SKILLS FOR SOCIAL WORK STUDENTS AT THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARTS EDUCATON – THE CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS
Abstract
Professional
practice
skills
are
very
important
for
Social
Work
students.
If
students
lack
professional
practice
skills,
they
cannot
perform
or
complete
tasks
in
practice,
internships
and
future
jobs.
In
response
to
the
actual
needs
of
society,
the
National
University
of
Art
Education
has
been
implementing
practical
activities
for
Social
Work
students
with
the
main
goal
of
equipping
them
with
knowledge,
the
most
necessary
career
skills
for
graduates
to
be
able
to
enter
the
job
market.
However,
besides
the
advantages,
the
practice
of
Social
Work
students
at
schools
still
faces
some
difficulties
that
need
to
be
overcome
so
that
the
training
of
practical
skills
for
them
can
achieve
the
best
results.
In
this
article,
the
author
presents
the
basic
requirements,
challenges
and
difficulties
in
training
social
work
practice
skills
at
the
National
University
of
Art
Education.
At
the
same
time,
a
number
of
solutions
are
provided
to
improve
social
work
practice
skills
for
students,
contributing
to
training
high‑quality
for
human
resources
to
meet
social
needs
