PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE VALUES OF THE DẺ ĐOÓNG TEMPLE FESTIVAL IN CAO BANG PROVINCE IN THE CONTEMPORARY CONTEXT

Abstract

The
De
Doong
Temple
Festival
is
one
of
the
typical
cultural
activities
of
the
people
of
Hong
Viet
commune,
Hoa
An
district,
Cao
Bang
province.
Along
with
the
De
Doong
Temple
relic
site,
the
festival
activities
have
preserved
many
good
values
and
cultural
traditions
of
the
locality
and
previous
generations.
In
the
current
period,
under
the
impacts
of
economic,
scientific
and
technological
development,
the
preservation
and
promotion
of
the
good
traditional
values
of
the
De
Doong
Temple
Festival
also
needs
to
have
methods
suitable
to
the
reality
of
contemporary
social
life.
Within
the
scope
of
the
article,
we
propose
a
number
of
methods
focusing
on
building
and
developing
human
resources
for
the
work
of
preserving
and
promoting
the
values
of
festivals
and
relic
sites;
building
a
cultural
environment;
researching,
restoring
and
maintaining
the
practice
of
traditional
cultural
and
artistic
 activities;
 promoting
 tourism
 development;
 deploying
 and
 implementing
 tasks
 and
 solutions
 for
managing
and
organizing
festivals
and
the
De
Doong
Temple
relic
site
