Abstract

Teaching Literature in universities is an activity, a process that has many differences from teaching Literature in high schools. It is not only providing information and knowledge about authors and literary works, but also training learners the necessary skills to be able to approach, introduce, analyze, and evaluate the literary phenomena and problems. It is the preparation of human resources for the labor market in fields that need bravery, dynamism, sensitivity and adaptability such as publishing, journalism, communication, research, management of literature and art, content creation in the cultural industry… In the rapid development of society and the increasingly diverse requirements of today's professions, the
teaching of literature needs to be constantly renewed, diversified and modernized to achieve the highest efficiency. This article will analyze the objectivity of the requirement to innovate the teaching method of literature, the aspects of the innovation process, and the application of information technology as a useful tool in the teaching innovation of literature at university level in the context of industrial revolution 4.0.
