APPLYING CARVED DECORATIVE PATTERNS IN KHUC THUY COMMUNAL HOUSE TO EFFECTIVELY TEACH FINE ARTS FOR STUDENTS OF CU KHE SECONDARY SCHOOL

Abstract

Art education towards cultural heritages has the meaning of activating and changing awareness, and at the same time helping to preserve and promote the unique values of communal house culture. Along with learning about cultural and artistic values, finding solutions to learn Fine Arts is always a concern for teachers who are passionate about their profession. Researching on carving motifs of Khuc Thuy communal house to serve the teaching of Fine Arts contributes to education and awareness raising for the generation of students at Cu Khe Secondary School. The application in teaching also helps students to have a correct perception of beauty, a sense of protecting cultural heritages, and appreciating the cultural values left by their forefathers.
