INCREASE STUDENTS' SELF‑EDUCATION AWARENSS IN THE MILITARY SCHOOL
Abstract
Academies and schools in the army (referred to as military schools) are the places that train officers for the Vietnam People's Army. The task of protecting the Fatherland as well as the need for fundamental and comprehensive innovation in current education and training requires military schools to improve their quality. However, the quality and effectiveness of education and training depends greatly on the students' self‑awareness of learning and training. Accordingly, raising students' self‑education awareness is an inevitable and objective requirement of education and training activities; is an important content of the party and political work in the Army to form and develop students' awareness and responsibility for self‑study and self‑training. Through a survey of staff, lecturers, and students in military schools, the article focuses on assessing the current situation and offering solutions to improve self‑education awareness for students in current military schools.
