Enhancing the quality of life of Ho Chi Minh City’s populace in the new era

Abstract

Ho Chi Minh City is a large center of the country in terms of economy, politics, culture
and education. Over the past decades, there have been great strides in the quality of life
of the people in both material and spiritual aspects. However, in order for the people of
the City to enjoy more of the fruits of development, the enhancement of the quality of life
of the people in the new era, the era of national rise, has become an urgent requirement.
By synthesizing and analyzing secondary documents, including data analysis from
state management agencies, the article analyzes the factors affecting the quality of life
including income, life expectancy, education, environment, transportation, security,
safety, as well as cultural and social development, and proposes solutions to improving
the quality of life of the people of Ho Chi Minh City, Not only does this bring happiness
to the people but it also contributes to the sustainable development of the City.
