Abstract
Motor skills play a crucial role in the
development of children aged 4 to 5. Howeverin Vietnam, there has been no specific research
dedicated to establishing a scientifically
grounded and practically applicable standarfor assessing motor skills in early childhood
education. Using conventional research methods,
this study successfully developed a motor skill
assessment standard for 4- to 5-year-old children
in Hanoi, comprising 10 tests. Additionally, score conversion table and a five-level evaluation
system were established. Validation results
indicate that the assessment tests demonstrate
high reliability and accurately reflect children’motor abilities. This study proposes applying the
developed standard in early childhood education
to systematically monitor and effectively enhance
motor skill development.
