Abstract
Drawing upon theoretical and empirical
foundations, coupled with fundamental scientific
research methodologies within the domain of
Physical Education and Sports (PES), this study
identified eight distinct categories of interventions
aimed at elevating the quality of extracurricular
PES activities among students at Can Tho
University (CTU). Furthermore, two short-term
intervention categories were specifically chosen
from this comprehensive framework of eight
solutions for in-depth development, experimental
implementation, and efficacy evaluation. These
selected interventions comprised: Group 1.
Establishing instructed extracurricular sports
clubs; and Group 2. Developing content and
curricula for extracurricular sports activities.
The empirical findings demonstrate that the
short-term interventions explored in this study
yielded positive outcomes for the participants.
