THỰC TRẠNG SỰ HỨNG THÚ TRONG TẬP LUYỆN MÔN BÓNG BÀN CHO SINH VIÊN ĐẠI HỌC QUỐC GIA HÀ NỘI
Abstract
The study surveyed the current state of table tennis instruction at Vietnam National University,
Hanoi (VNU), revealing a noticeable decline in student engagement during training. This decline
negatively affects both skill acquisition and overall educational quality. To address this issue, the research
applies Self-Determination Theory (Deci & Ryan, 2017) as a theoretical framework, focusing on three
core components: competence, autonomy, and relatedness. Based on this framework, questionnaires
and interviews were developed to assess students’ intrinsic motivation and identify barriers that hinder
their active participation in learning and training activities. The findings clarify key factors influencing
students’ learning interest and offer practical solutions to enhance instructional effectiveness and promote
holistic development through table tennis education.
