Abstract

Preserving and developing the
cultural identity of ethnic groups is a
necessary and urgent task in the current
context of globalization and international
economic integration. Folk games and
traditional sports are characteristic products
of a culture, not only serving as pure
entertainment but also representing the result
of centuries-long cultural evolution, reflecting
the close bond of the community, and
embodying the cultural identity of an ethnic
group. The research group conducted an
assessment of the awareness among university
students in Hanoi regarding this issue. The
research results provide valuable insights for
researchers and professionals to develop
solutions for preserving and promoting
cultural values among young intellectuals.
