Abstract

Using standard research
methods in Sports Science, the article
evaluates the physical form and physiological
functions of primary school students from
ethnic minority groups in the North Central
and Northern Mountainous regions of
Vietnam. The research findings indicate that
the physical development of these students is
lower than or equivalent to their Vietnamese
peers of the same age and gender, as observed
in the results of the National Physical Fitness
Survey in 2001.
