Abstract

 Based on both theoretical
principles and practical considerations, we
have identified four sets of criteria for
assessing the pedagogical competence of
physical education teachers in teaching
swimming and water safety skills in Thanh Hoa
province. These criteria are tailored to the
practical conditions and aim to enhance the
effectiveness of teaching swimming and water
safety skills, ultimately reducing the incidence
of drowning incidents among students. This is
a critical issue in today's context.
