GENETIC DIVERSITY OF OMICRON SUBLINEAGES
Abstract
The haplotype diversity (Hd) parameter of the BA.1 sublineage is 1,170, which is 0.750 higher than that of the BA.2 sublineage and the BA.3 sublineage is 0.408. Therefore, the haplotype diversity of the BA.1 sublineage is the largest, followed by the BA.2 sublineage, and the BA.3 sublineage is the lowest. The nucleotide diversity parameters of the BA.1 sublineage is the largest p1=0.00053, qS1=0.00053, qseq1=2,103 and k1=2.26, followed by the BA.2 sublineage p2= 0.00033, qS2=0.00024, qseq2=0.736 and k2=1.05, the smallest being the BA.3 sublineage p3=0.0010, qS3=0.00013, qseq3=0.480 and k3 =0.42. Therefore, the BA.1 sublineage has the greatest nucleotide diversity, followed by the BA.2 sublineage and the BA.3 sublineage is the lowest. Thus, the BA.1 sublineage has the greatest genetic diversity, the second is the BA.2 sublineage and the BA.3 sublineage is the lowest. The BA.1 sublineage is the original lineage that evolved into sublineages BA.2 and BA.3
