Data integration and sharing for Vietnamese businesses in the digital age

Abstract

The article highlights the importance and challenges of data integration and sharing in improving business operational efficiency, while also contributing to the growth of e-government and the digital economy. Data integration serves as the foundation for data sharing, which in turn optimizes the value derived from data. Despite being key components of the digital transformation process, many businesses in Vietnam have yet to fully acknowledge and implement these practices. Through a comprehensive literature review and expert consultations, the article presents and evaluates current data integration and sharing technologies, and subsequently proposes a detailed process for effective data integration and sharing. This aims to help businesses leverage data more efficiently, support decision-making, and enhance their competitiveness.
