Abstract
Vietnam’s stock market in the post-Covid-19 period has encountered a range of complex challenges, most notably capital flow volatility, shifting investor sentiment, and increasing pressure in managing market. This study focuses on analyzing the market’s current conditions from 2022 to 2024, using secondary data collected from regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and stock exchanges. Through an analytical and synthetic approach, the paper The study identifies three features of Vietnam’s post-pandemic stock market: (1) a notable recovery in market scale and liquidity, (2) a rise in information asymmetry stemming from inadequate disclosure practices among listed firms, and (3) a lack of coordination in policy implementation, both in terms of timing and policy instruments. The findings provide deeper insight into the market’s operational dynamics in the aftermath of the pandemic and suggest practical policy directions aimed at enhancing transparency, broadening the range of financial products, and attracting sustainable capital flows. Accordingly, the study offers targeted recommendations for policymakers to improve disclosure practices, strengthen market supervision, and promote foreign investment- contributing to the long-term sustainable development of Vietnam’s stock market.
