Improving access to e-banking services of vulnerable people in Bac Ninh province

Abstract

Faced with the low ability of vulnerable people to access electronic banking services in Bac Ninh,
the research team surveyed of 250 vulnerable people in the province, in the period from November 2022
to January 2023, putting 237 valid survey questionnaires into testing scale reliability, EFA testing and OLS
linear regression. The results have drawn 5 factors that affect the access to electronic banking services of
vulnerable groups in the province, including: (1) Cost awareness, (2) Influence of state policies, (3) Ease of
use, (4) Communication factor and (5) Risk awareness. Through the results of this study, the authors made
recommendations to help policymakers take appropriate measures to improve access to electronic banking
services of vulnerable people in Bac Ninh Province, helping vulnerable people to be more equal in access to
the achievements of the technological revolution.
