Developing the system of socialist goals in the Draft political report for the 14th National Party Congress
Abstract
Throughout human history, peace, independence, wealth, prosperity, and happiness have always been the common aspirations of nations. For Vietnam, these goals are not only universal values but also the crystallization of the blood, sweat, intellect, and courage of many generations. In the context of new development, supplementing the system of goals and the relationship among “peace, independence, wealth, prosperity, civilization, and happiness” reflects the Party's strategic vision in perfecting the Vietnamese socialist model by the middle of the 21st century. This article focuses on clarifying the dialectical relationship between the goals, examining them in close connection and mutual support, thereby affirming the long-term guiding value of the Party for the development of the country until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
